We
seldom see ourselves as others do. We never know ourselves as God
does.
Jesus promised that the truth would set us free. Discovering
the truth about ourselves is often a painful and humiliating experience.
Yet,
we
can leave things as they are and continue to stumble along in the dark,
or we
can choose to allow God to lift us up and free us: by His forgiving
grace, total
understanding, and limitless love. (John 8:36) |

One of the victims, a 15-year-old is
pregnant, allegedly by the
33-year-old suspect, and the younger 14-year-old sister has multiple
lacerations in her sexual organs according to the legal-medical
examiner’s report. The child states in her sworn affidavit that both men
had sexual relations with her and her sister many times and video-taped
it. The evidence points to multiple acts of child rape, abuse,
intimidation and the making of child pornography. |
A lot of
saints and even ministers of the Lord miss it right here. Many have a
problem
with this subject – recognizing the anointing. Part of the problem stems
from a
complete misunderstanding of what the anointing is. And so, it is quite
amazing
to witness people hungry for what they do not understand. Even more
amazing are
those who are dishing what they do not understand. The consequence of
this has
been a lot of abuse of the anointing in so many ways. Some like the
Pharisees
in the days of Jesus have blasphemed the Holy Spirit for failure to
recognize
the anointing. Others have simply missed their visitation while others
have
suffered for lack of knowledge.
