Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who
shall dwell in thy
holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and
speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue,
nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his
neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth
them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth
not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward
against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be
moved...Jesus promised us that whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that
will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son...If ye shall ask
any thing in my name, I will do it.I will not leave you comfortless: I
will come to you...But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring
all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you...If ye
abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and
it shall be done unto you.Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye
shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.For the Father
himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I
came out from God...I came forth from the Father, and am come into the
world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father...Now are we sure
that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask
thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. Jesus answered
them, Do ye now believe? Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come,
that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me
alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These
things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the
world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome
the world...But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in
you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing
teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it
hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.So shall my word be that goeth
forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall
accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing
whereto I sent it.And this is the confidence that we have in him, that,
if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:And if we know
that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions
that we desired of Him.Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them
about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:So shalt thou
find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.Trust in
the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy
paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from
evil.Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land,
and verily thou shalt be fed.Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he
shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the
LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.Rest in the LORD,
and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who
prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to
pass.Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise
to do evil.Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope
the LORD is.For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that
spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat
cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the
year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. For I know the
thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and
not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me,
and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye
shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your
heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away
your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all
the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring
you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away
captive.Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not:
behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence;
he will come and save you.And it shall come to pass, that before they
call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.Commit
thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
