Love found me
When I could,nt see,
It filtered right through,
The invisble barriors of inhumanity.
It lifted me up,and made me feel strong,
Not letting go,even when times seemed so hard.
Love crept in,with all of its charm,
Making me feel safe and secure,
In the tenderness of His arms.
If I had let my dreams fade,
I might not have seen,
The most beautiful love,
That was waiting there just for me.
I love you so much Lord,
But I think that you already know.
Because in my heart theres a burning ember,
That You started a long time ago!
Can you hear the message,
In the silence of the breeze.
Whispering gentle words,
That’ll bring you to your knees.
Can hear Him beckoning,
Tenderly calling out your name.
You can hear Him,
When the wind blows,
Gently threw the trees.
He breathes out a message,
All of us need to hear.
Reminding us of the mission,
That He designed for you and me.
Take heed my friend,
Don't let His message,
Be tossed into the wind.
For Jesus died and rose again,
Showing us all,
How we can truly live,
A life without end.
He,ll throw your sins,
To the depths of the sea,
Saying do them no more,
And you will see Me.
He,ll send you The Comforter,
From The Father above,
Teaching you all things,
Filling you with His love.
We can't go back and change,
The things we have done,
But we can find forgiveness,
When we confess our sins,
To our Father above.
He will cleanse your heart,
And renew your mind,
God is full of compassion,
And ready to forgive,
Take time to ask Him,
Hes been waiting for you,
To call out to Him.
Please take a moment,
And stop to say a prayer,
God is listening,
He really does care.
For most of my life,
I had walked in someone else's shadow.
Always hoping that someone would see,
The pain, that lingered deep inside of me.
I couldn't hide the tears,
That use to fill my eyes,
I felt so alone,like no one was listening,
Or cared when they seen me cry,
You walked into my life.
It was then that I knew,
That what I needed, was a true friend.
I asked God to send me someone like you,
Who would love me,
Who wouldn't turn and walk away,
Someone who would listen,
Someone who would stay.
I know that God heard my prayers,
And now I know,
That I'm no longer alone.
How beautiful are the hands
That reached back to mine.
Sharing a love so tender
That I could never deny
You filled my heart with compassion
As you lay down by my side.
You embraced my heart
And captured my dreams
Showing me
That theres more to this life
Than I had once believed.
If it were,nt for you
I may have never known
What it was like to be loved
By a true friend in deed.
