How can you claim to be a servant of God for almost four decades and do not know the ethics of God servants. How can you claim to live in the light and boast, & applause darkness. By their fruits we shall know them who claim to speak & preach, work wonders in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. There is so much wrong in the world of religion this day; especially with witches, wizards, magicians and all sorts of satanic servants wearing the purple robe and claiming to be carrying the authority of god. I was opportune to attend and listen to some of these modern days’ money raisers recently who enticed the crowd with fake promises, some sorts of miracles, threat and self praise. I happen to pick up a few unique points from these services and I want you to add them to your watch list of suspicious and need to be carefully scrutinized prophets.

How can you claimed to be a servant of God with a message from Him and on Sunday morning you climb the pulpit once and boast about your achievements for about fifteen minutes, read one short verse, talk about what you observed about your countrymen weakness to a multilingual congregation (nepotism) for another hour and close with raising funds; using different methods of self boast about your powers over nature? What are the motives of such preachers?  You who are invited as a guest Preacher and do not know what your congregation does for a living; yet you take envelopes and claim it is been collected to make them prosper and be bless in all they do. What if their work is against the ethics of God and man? Who will prosper them; God or Satan? Some of them even go as far as threatening the congregation with death if the envelopes are not return.  So what was you mission all about; the souls of these souls or their money? The Church of God has detolirated so much that everything in it has change drastically. The pulpit  from which God voice is to be heard is now a podium for all sorts of evils.

It is a pity what the house of God has turn to these days. One of the horrors I watch during these last few days which reawaken my hatred for Servants of God who uses the pulpit to vent out their hurt feeling , get revenge for incidents that arose in everyday life or preach about others in order to make themselves popular in the eyes of  the congregation was the accusation of a woman of an undefined act publicly which was not proven publicly. If you are man enough to heard the spirit tell you to accuse someone publicly ; you should be man enough to back up your accusations publicly and not leave  suspicions and doubts about someone who will carry a mark of your act for life. The publicity stunts of over zealots miracle workers (if they actually are ) is usually immature because they have no sound background in studying the scriptures and can not back their actions with the scriptures.. How cowardly and foolish this act really is and I hate it with a passion. The pulpit is all about attacking, exposing and trying to remedy sin in the lives of the people in order that it may bring about a positive change. There is a big gap/difference between the pulpit and the podium where social and political speeches are delivered. If there is an issue that you can’t deal with in door by yourself; call others to help you handle it. 

At one of these programs I witness to my horror a Pastor wife been disgrace in front of not only her congregation but the combine congregations , Muslims, atheist, of the entire city. Before a jammed packed church with people downstairs and out side watching by television; this woman was called up and asked if she was a Pastor’s wife. When she affirmed that she was; this fellow begin to accuse her of some nameless evil. Now is it wrong to expose evil? No it is not but there is a how, when, where, and sometimes why.  This fellow had earlier visited this woman congregation about four days before this incident; had interacted with the particular Pastor in question through out; from the day of his arrival, had been introduced to this woman before this time. Now tell me miracles workers if something was wrong in the life of this Pastor wife why didn’t he called them in private at their church when he visited, in the office where he interacted with him daily  and enlighten them ; because after disgracing the woman on the stage  he did nothing to expose the demon or whatever it was, get it out or heal her of it ;if it was real but benefited by increasing his popularity  with one final goal, which was to raise funds from a stunned congregation.. What kind of fruits are these for a servant of God I wondered?  Surely they are not listed among the fruits Servants of God should bear; because we all knew the end result was increasing their popularity so that he could raise money.

What really annoyed me was the Pastors around (mostly birds of the same feathers) really applauded this action. I cried within me when I heard this fellow say: "Come and take an envelope and get a miracle from God; for I have sacrifice for you. Take the envelope and rub it on my head or put on my coat for I am sacrificing it for you. "And Pastors who should know better came and took the envelopes and rub it on the fellow head after putting a hundred or two hundred dollars into it.  Then I question myself about what these guys or ladies really preach in the churches if they could accept that a man sacrifice for them to get breakthroughs or prosper?

They were all carried away by two incidents called miracles in our days ; yet I can’t boldly called it that for the Preacher himself said we should give him the glory and not  God. He could handle that issue with God later. Therefore it was something else been done by magical or tricky means and not a miracle of God and for me they were very questionable. Why use the pulpit of God for such acts? In fact regardless of how popular one is; from which geographical location he/she comes from; and by what contrary spirits he/she uses to draw the public attention; real ambassadors of Jesus Christ should be really to expose them with the intention of helping them. For even if they claim to be super rich; we can punch holes in their claims from their very statements and actions.

My problem is not how much he gains from these stunts but how many are following these so-called miracle workers and losing on earth their substances and the souls to the devil. These poor dumb sheep souls believe in the signs, tricks and or miracles that they are out there performing. I am aware that they are not preaching because they want to serve God, but because they want to gain materially. I want them to know that the path they have chosen to gain popularity is not honorable and it is never too late to study the ethics of what it takes to preach the Word of God to others. I am not in any way judging them; neither am I condemning them as a person ; for in certain cases I even admired the way they can get the crowd attention, but I hate that which I see ruining a talented person that could be honorably use for the glory of God whom they claimed to represent.  Their methods could be refined and they could be even more popular if they studied  the Word of God in order to know where to apply what and why, when and how to apply it that one will be able to get even more powerful results instead  & approval from God. Believe it or not if your aim is material wealth; you will still get it.

There was a statement made by  one of these fellows that blessings is riches and to be bless means to be materially rich. I can tell you that this is the blackest lie on the face of mother earth. I personally know  interact and pray daily with many, who do not starve, have a roof over their heads and are comfortable in the material world but there is a thorn in their flesh that makes them wish that God could exchange their lives with even the poorest if it could correct that situation and bring peace and happiness to their lives. You could have all the money, cars, popularity, etc and not a single child or carrying a sickness which seems incurable and a lot of other things that makes a man feel incomplete. Do you know that Abraham felt incomplete until he could boast of a child?  Yet he was one of the most bless man upon the face of the earth that ever walked its surface. Real blessings from God come as a complete package and there are no question asked when it comes because everything God does is unique. I did not say rich men are not blessed; but that blessing is far more than material gain.

The Bible cautions us to be wise and test every spirit. Satan is not a weakling but a powerful counterfeiter and he is working more furiously in those places claimed for God. I don’t know about your community but in my Satan has the upper hand in the lives of those claiming to represent God. 99.9 are working for him with their eyes open 24/7 and are aware that they are serving him; even those they appear to be representatives of the children of light and claim to carry the royal mantle of anointing.  There are a lot of people out there who are confuse about the differences between a pulpit and a podium and use both for the same purpose interchangeably. Know today that there is a vast difference between the two and this should be one of your most vital lessons that a servant of God should learn. Lack of knowledge about the differences causes one to do a lot of unnecessary and abominable acts on the pulpit. The pulpit is usually sanctified & consecrated for the use of delivering messages from the highest God to the people and petitions from the people to the Highest God. The podium on the other hand doesn’t have to be consecrated and in most cases 99.9 percent of the time lies, broken promises, deception or methods of exploitation   are meant to come from them. Stop using the pulpit to pull popularity stunts, revenge what you think is your hurt feelings, oppress, suppress or depress. Your campaign speeches should be from the podium. Stop placing your personal agenda above the message of God. Again remember that the podium is use for lies, manipulations, exploitations, personal agendas but the pulpit should be only for the truth and the edification of God Word & Kingdom. So many beautiful well decorated glass podiums are in our Churches today that can only fit in auditoriums for organizations. Know the difference that you may be able to properly note the difference between a pulpit and a podium and that will enable you to invite the right sort of speakers for the type you have within those four walls. Be Bless and remember that Moses did wonders and so did the magicians of Pharaoh; but if you carefully noted the wonder of Moses overcame the wonders of the magicians. Test every Spirit for we serve a unique God and He is only one!
